Lodge Assistance Program

What is the Lodge Assistance Program?

The Lodge Assistance Program makes available a section's extensive resources to help the lodges of the section. With the section's help, lodges will be able to provide better service to their councils and fulfill the requirements of the Quality Lodge Recognition program.

The assistance program encompasses two major elements, lodge visits by a section assistance team and use of the council of chiefs meetings to provide training. Through a system of evaluation and review, lodge leaders are able to interact and learn from experienced Arrowmen within the section. The lodge visits help identify the resources, training and guidance that lodges require to ultimately increase the service they provide to their councils.

Through the Lodge Assistnce Program the section is given the opportunity to mentor and assist lodges in improving their lodge program. The main function of the Lodge Assistance Program is to help develop lodges into national quality lodges.

The Assistance Team is composed of arrowman from the section who volunteer their time to help better other lodges, and their own. During the visitation, arrowman from around the section are given the opportunity to share ideas, and help each other improve through the sharing of knowledge of what works well, and what doesn't. The section is allways looking for knowledgable arrowman to join the section assitance team, to join the section assistance team please send an email to the Section Vice-Chief.
