Dave is an Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor member, and Founder’s Award recipient from Ho-De-No-Sau-Nee Lodge #159, Greater Niagara Frontier Council. Since joining the OA in 2001, he has served as Chairman of the Lodge Publications, Elections, and Training Committees, Lodge Chief, and currently Section Chief. He has attended the 2002, 2004, and 2006 National Order of the Arrow Conferences, and, in 2005, was a member of the National Jamboree OA Service Corps. He has participated in the OA Trail Crew High Adventure Program at Philmont (Trek 609 2006) and the Wilderness Voyage Program at Northern Tier (Trek 614 2007). He has served as a Northeast Region NLS trainer and has also served as a staff member of the Shows/Gatherings committee at the 2007 National Conservation and Leadership Summit. He is an active member of Troop 509 in Hamburg, New York where he is an Assistant Scoutmaster. Dave has spent the past 6 summers working at his local summer camp Schoellkopf Scout Reservation.
